First Class are you sure?
I am at this moment sitting in an airport in Lima, Peru waiting for the connecting flight to Ecuador. It is 3:45 in the morning here. We are a little more than half way to our destination. In total we are a team of 10, 3 staff and 7 students. We will also partnering with a ywam couple who has two young children. I am going to fill you in a bit concerning our travels so far and latter I will talk about the ministry that we are doing. After the 3-5 hour bus ride Matthew, Mariah, Meghan, and I arrived at the airport where we later met Carolina, Franklin and Nathalia. After many goodbyes we made it through customs and then on to the plane where a great surprise awaited us. When I printed out the tickets I thought it strange that it said business class, but didn't think much about it. When we went to find our seats we became instantly aware that we were in first class. I asked the stewardess just to make sure we were in the right place it was a total shock to all of us. As we sat in our seats completely dumbfounded and excited I remembered my previous trip to Chile and how I had said God it would be so cool to ride first class sometime. I defiantly felt over the top blessed. We had an incredible meal as well. I had tomato soup with basil and a huge salad, fresh fruit and a chocolate. It was so nice to have food that was good for my body. Now we wait for our next flight, and even as we wait God is finding ways to heap blessings on us. We are staying in the VIP lounge with free food and drinks, and it is a bit more quiet then the normal lounge. This has been a very stange start to outreach. Not typical at all. I am excited to see what God is going to do in this time and how he is going to stretch us. Hope to write again soon. MERRY CHRISTMAS!
