Begaining the school

We have begun the lecture phase of the DTS and at the moment have 25 students with 8 more still to come. They should be arriving by Monday. Next week we should have the final count. Many nations are represented in this school I believe around 11. At this time it is still a bit difficult to determine what this school will be like. I know that God will be working tons in the lives of those who seek him and allow his purposes in their lives. Monday I will find out who my one on one girls will be and small groups. I have enjoyed already getting to know the students and looking forward to sharing the next three months with them.

Estas en Chile. I am in Chile and we have begain preparing for the students. Painting, cleaning, and praying. It has been a very good time getting to know the staff better. Each day I have been able to get to know one of the staff better which has been a great blessing. My mind is a bit cluttered as I am a bit tired and have a cold. I will write more later right now it is time for lunch. Chao (talk to you later).

Flying away

It has come time for the little bird to spread her wings and fly. Still unaware of the reality that she is really going to arrive at the planned destination and for a time as she looks back to the loved one's she is leaving behind she can do only that look back. For her journey is just beginning and one does not turn back so soon. The things this little bird will see, learn, experience and do are beyond the little birds knowledge or plans. Content to simply, bless others, sing her songs, and praise her maker a life of simplicity is where her soul shall abide. Yes the storms will come, the rains will pour. Things shall be difficult at times and seem impossible to conquer, but the little bird will soar as if on the wings of an eagle. And in this time the little bird will grow to be a strong bird. This little bird will marvel in the majesty of its maker and be overwhelmed by grace and peace. Little bird will transform into beloved daughter. I am so thrilled to have the chance to be used by God to speak truth into the lives of the students who will be coming to Chile to take the DTS (discipleship training school).
